This is my first experience with building and maintaining a website.  It involves a lot of geeky terms and and a bunch of confusing letters!  I highly suggest it!  If anyone wants me to build them a website just let me know!

In other news around the San Juans, we went riding in shorts in Cortez on Sat.  and on Tues.  i was skiing in knee deep powder!  Tomorrow i am going to check out the new Revelation Bowl here in Telluride.  Cheers!

Suck It!

The best band ever!  If you dont think so i don't care!  You can suck it!  This weekend will involve cross country skiing, a roll in the dirt on the single speed, drinking, good football, drinking and capped off with a little skiing.  Gotta fit it all in before the complete mayhem of the holidays begin.  I feel it coming!  I hear Sunday Telluride may open some more stuff!  Get out the rock boards!

Snow already, will ya?  I am finally accepting the fact that winter is well on its way and there is no damn snow?  I got a bike ride planned Friday, it will snow like hell!  Ohio St. destroyed Michigan and now will share the Big Ten title with Penn St.  Hopefully Ohio St. will go to the Fiesta Bowl, so i can go see them again!

I like music--Blitzen Trapper, Pinback, TV on the Radio and Deerhunter.  Give them a shot for your ears.

Less than a week until Ohio St. plays Michigan. GO BUCKS!  This is by far one of the best rivalries in the history of college  football. With a Bucks win and a Penn St. loss, we get the Big Ten Trophy and maybe another shot with USC in the Rose Bowl!  

I HATE MICHIGAN! THEY SUCK!  EVERYONE SHOULD HATE MICHIGAN!

Home Sweet Home

Sophia and I rode a  tandem all around Denver the Last couple of days.  This was a very fun mode of transportation, sure beats that dumb ass thing called walking!  

We had great weather while we were in Denver and now back in Telluride it is still great!  Cant wait to go ride in Dolores tomm.!

Nice little bowl of Pho! Eat it up yum!  This was the large size, in case you didn't notice!  Denver has some good food.  We are visiting our friends Ben and Siobhan and enjoying every second of it.  Tonight, we are going to get some real Thai food, more yummy!  Ben falls asleep in every photo i take of him...weird!

Me and my little nephew Keller having a bottle and a nap!  He had to get some crocs like his uncle Mike.

Sophia had no idea that there are rolling hills in Ohio!  Round on the ends and hi in the middle!  We will be back in Telluride on Wednesday and it will be back to working life again!  I already miss vacation!

I was even a bad ass then!!!

Word on the street----------a lot of snow in Telluride!  17 inches!  Good for business, bad for biking!  Oh well, time to get the skis out.  Not so fast my friend--------I am still in Ohio and it is going to be 65 degrees tomm.  That means i will be on the cross bike for a couple of hours before we hit the road. Yippie Skippie!!!  

It is amazing how fun the riding is right were i grew up and i never did it?  I am pretty sure that no one has ever ridden a non motorized bike where we have been riding!!!  Crazy!!!

Congrats Obama, thank god!

Soph and i rode 25 miles today here in Ohio.  We actually did some climbing here(2k feet).  We were pretty surprised, but very pleased. Tomorrow i am going out with my dad and brother golfing.  I am very sure that i will cuss a lot and throw some clubs around! 

  Today for dinner we had homemade spicy Italian sausage sandwiches on fresh baked rolls. Wow, you just can't get that food out west?  The pizza has also been the BOMB!  My mom and grandma also made some stuff for us like lasagna and cabbage rolls, yummy. 

 

I shot a man in Kansas...just to watch him die!

Wow, I hate Kansas!  It blows.  More cops than people and we had a small breakdown to the Red Whale.  She is up and running fine now.  We made it to Landahl Park, Missouri for a great ride yesterday.  Now we are in Ohio!!!  Maybe the Buckeyes will do better now that we are here!  Good to finally see the family and to see 6 dogs run around like crazy!!!

Vacation is all i ever wanted!!!

Go Bucks!  Only a few days left until another Big 10 showdown in the horseshoe!  Sat. 8PM.

Only a few more days until the famdamily heads east to OHIO to see the rest of the famdamily!  We are packing up the big red whale with all three dogs, four bikes, 4 bags of clothes, the pop up camper, a big ass white cooler and some other various necessary items.

We are hoping to ride in KC, Missouri, OH then back to the homeland of Colorado to hit Fruita.  We can't wait to get to Ohio and eat real pizza!

6-6, 235 pound freshman Terrelle Pryor and hoss running back Beanie Wells pretty much showed the nation just what they are capable of.  Add a veteran line that finally decided to turn it up and a monster defense with a fearless leader.

Who is this "Joe The Plumber"?

I like to ride bikes!  So does Ken Bloomer!  Ken is just another American who jumped ship.  He is living over in Germany eating lots of sausage and drinking schnapps with Spaten chasers!  Ken is the guilty party who turned me on to IF. Ever since, it has been an addiction.  I am a true believer that their bikes are the best out there.  Just look to the left, have you ever seen a nicer bike?  I highly doubt it.

He is also the reason i started  this blog.  But anyway, he is the man.  Call him and get an IF---you will not regret it.You can find his rants and raves @ 34x18.blogspot.com.  I believe he likes to ride single speeds?  He also likes mojitos!!!  

Back to" Joe the plumber", can we vote for this guy?  Does he have any relation to "Joe six pack?"  Is he just a normal guy that deserves a tax break and free healthcare?

Here is a simple solution on determining our next leader:  instead of wasting our time with these lie filled debates, have cage fight----winner takes all?  Or even Survivor-D.C.  I am so sick of the  drama and the promise of tax breaks, affordable healthcare and a change for the small guy.  Bullshit!  Give my business 32 billion dollars, i will pay you back!  Right after i get back from a spa in Thailand.

Summer Is Extinct!
